First laps. First learnings.
Two intense test days at the Lausitzring are in the books. The 2025 season has officially started.

Day 1 brought some technical setbacks, costing us valuable track time. But day 2 made up for it: full program, clear steps forward, and a lot of positives to take away.

It feels good to be back with the team at @hauptracingteam – familiar faces, strong support.

Still: new season, new car, new dynamics – changes require time and a steep learning curve for all of us.

We’re realistic. No big expectations for the season opener. The key is development – race by race, step by step.

Upcoming challenge: no more test time until the first race. So the next time I’ll be in the car… it’s go time. I’ll give it everything I’ve got.

Let’s get to work.

Meet MR28 – now flying! 🚁🔥
Yesterday at the Lausitzring, something special took off – quite literally.
Together with my partner German Copters, we officially unveiled and named their newest high-performance drone: MR28 – in honor of my race number and our shared mindset of precision, speed and innovation.

The setting? Perfect. During official test days at the Lausitzring, MR28 lifted off right in the heart of motorsport – surrounded by horsepower and high expectations.

And what’s the mission?
In the future, MR28 will be used to transport medical supplies faster – and maybe even help save lives. A purpose that gives this partnership between motorsport and drone tech a whole new dimension.

Bringing motorsport to life – right here in Ramstein! 🏁

Zwei Tage voller PS, Politik & Publikum – auf der Leistungsschau Ramstein!

Gemeinsam mit @fssimracing durfte ich den Motorsport hautnah erlebbar machen.

Als Botschafter des Sports der Stadt Ramstein bin ich stolz, bei solchen Events regelmäßig dabei zu sein – im Austausch mit den Menschen aus der Region, mit Partnern, Unterstützern und vielen neuen Gesichtern!

Besonders gefreut hat mich der Besuch von gordonschnieder, Fraktionsvorsitzender der CDU-Landtagsfraktion und Spitzenkandidat für die Landtagswahl 2026. Er hat sich sogar selbst ans Steuer gesetzt – und ich durfte ein kleines Sim-Coaching übernehmen!

Mit auf dem Stand:
Markus Klein (MdL), Florian Bilic (Bundestag), Pascal Mansion (FS Simracing), Ralf Lessmeister (Landrat KL), Joe Felka (1. Beigeordneter Ramstein) – danke für euren Besuch und das Interesse an unserer Arbeit!

Ein weiteres Highlight war die Übergabe einer originalen GT3-Bremsscheibe an den Geschäftsführer der Stadtwerke Ramstein – als Zeichen des Danks für viele Jahre treuer Unterstützung.
